Coffee Chocolate Mousse Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 2 tsp. brewed coffee

  • 2 c. heavy whipping cream, divided

  • 3 T. powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

  • pinch salt

Let's Get Started!

  1. In a heatproof bowl, add coffee. Add in chocolate chips to the coffee and microwave in 20 second increments, stirring until the chocolate is completely smooth (add additional coffee if needed).

  2. In a large bowl, pour 1-1/2 cups of heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Using an electric mixer, whip until stiff peaks form.

  3. Let the chocolate cool slightly then gently fold it into the whipped cream using a spatula.

  4. Divide the mousse into serving glasses, cover and chill for at least two hours to set.

  5. Top each dessert with a dollop of the remaining 1/2 cup of whipped cream and serve.
