Cheese Tidbits Recipe

Ingredients:
6 slices potato bread
4 oz, cream cheese, room temperature
8 oz. cheddar cheese, grated
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
3 oz. ham, finely diced
3 T. butter for cooking
½ c. panko breadcrumbs
Let's Get Started!
Trim crust from the bread slices. Make sure slices are the same size.
Place cream cheese in a small bowl and add cheddar cheese, mustard, and ham and mix well.
Layer cheese mixture ¼ inch think on three slices of bread. Top with remaining bread slices.
Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over a medium heat.
Put remaining 2 tablespoons of butter in a small bowl,
Spread each side of the sandwich with butter, then coat with the panko crumbs.
Place each sandwich in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 1 to 2 minutes per side, then cut into eighths. Serve warm with toothpicks.
