Pecan Crusted Salmon Recipe

Instructions:

  • 4 (6 oz.) salmon filets

  • 1 T. honey

  • 1 T. Dijon mustard

  • 1 T. butter, melted

  • 1/4 tsp. salt

  • 1/3 c. Panko breadcrumbs

  • 1/2 c. pecans, finely chopped

  • 1 T. parsley

Maple Glaze (Optional)

  • 1/3 c. bourbon

  • ¼ c. soy sauce

  • 2 T. brown sugar

  • 1 T. honey

  • 1 T. Dijon mustard

  • 1T. lemon juice


Let's Get Started!

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper, then spray with cooking spray.

  2. Pat the salmon filets dry with a paper towel and place skin side down on the baking sheet.

  3. Combine honey, mustard, butter, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

  4. Brush mustard mixture over the salmon.

  5. In a small bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, pecans and parsley.

  6. Sprinkle pecan mixture over top of salmon.

  7. Bake salmon for 10-12 minutes depending on the thickness.

  8. For the Maple Glaze: Bring all maple glaze ingredients to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
