Ingredients:
1/3 c. butter, melted and divided
2 1/4 c. Bisquick mix
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. 7 up soda
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Pour 1/4 cup of the melted butter into the bottom of a cast iron skillet.
Mix Bisquick starting with 2 cups, sour cream and 7 up in a medium bowl until a dough is formed. Continue to add 1/4 cup of Bisquick until you reach the desired consistency.
Add flour to a work surface and turn dough out. Add flour to your hands and to the top of the dough. Roll or press the dough with your hand to about 1 inch. Cut dough in circles using a cookie cutter or the rim of a coffee mug and add to the skillet.
Bake biscuits in preheated oven for 8-10 minutes. Brush the tops with remaining butter. Let them cool for about 5 minutes, then serve.
